What are the exact dimensions? Will it fit on a small nightstand?

About 20"H overall (base approx. 7.8"L × 3.9"W ; shade approx. 12"L × 5.7"W) . It is a compact bedside lamp — please compare the measurements with your nightstand before ordering. If you are looking for a tall reading lamp, this one runs small.

Will it work with a smart plug, Alexa or a wall switch?

This touch lamp is not compatible with smart plugs, Alexa, or wall switches. The lamp has no brightness memory — it restarts at the lowest setting, and after a power cut (wall switch / smart plug / Alexa) it stays OFF until you tap it.

How many lamps come in one box? Is this a set of 2 lamps?

Yes — this is a SET OF 2. One box contains 2 bases + 2 shades + 2 LED bulbs.
